A forged-steel geared trolley on sealed bearings — built for adjustable beam-width monorail travel with a 6-times safety test and 0.5–10 tonne capacity.
The DTDG type geared trolley is a manual geared travelling trolley, designed to be matched with chain hoists. It enables manual horizontal movement along I-beam flanges while supporting vertical load lifting. Available in rated capacities from 0.5 ton to 10 ton, it is widely applied for monorail cranes, workshop overhead material handling and assembly lines, where loads need to travel along a fixed I-beam track besides vertical hoisting.
It features adjustable beam flange width to fit different I-beams, compact structure and easy installation. The minimum curve radius allows operation on curved rail sections. Refer to the specification table below to select the correct model matching your beam size and working condition.
Available in rated capacities from 0.5T to 10T, the DTDG geared trolley offers multiple models to meet different lifting requirements. It is suitable for use in factories, warehouses, workshops, and various lifting applications.
Designed for 68–203 mm beam flange widths, the trolley can be adjusted to fit different I-beam specifications, providing flexible installation and broad application compatibility.
Equipped with a mechanical geared drive system, the trolley enables smooth and controlled horizontal movement along the I-beam. The hand-chain operation provides easy positioning and efficient load handling.
Robust and compact construction with a minimum curve radius of 0.8–1.6 m, suitable for space-limited applications.
Where loads need to move along I-beams manually for material transfer — at workshops, assembly stations, maintenance bays — a manual geared trolley delivers reliable performance at lower cost and with simpler maintenance than an electric travelling trolley. The DTDG is built for exactly that: dependable, manual horizontal travelling matched with chain hoists.
Which trolley model fits your job? If your I-beam flange width varies, the DTDG geared trolley features adjustable width to suit a wide range of I-beams and can operate on curved tracks with specified minimum curve radius. If you need powered travel along a beam or runway, select our motorized trolley model instead. If you just need economical manual travelling paired with hand chain hoists, the DTDG geared trolley is the simpler, more cost-effective choice. The DTDG geared trolley rides on an I-beam and is driven by a hand chain to move the load horizontally. If the load only needs to be lifted and moved, match it with a chain block or hand chain hoist of the same capacity.
Choose from 0.5–10 t rated capacity (DTDG0.5 to DTDG10) based on your heaviest rated load, plus a suitable safety margin.
Confirm the trolley's flange width range (68–203 mm) matches your I-beam flange before ordering, and ensure the min. curve radius (0.8–1.6 m) suits your track.
Review overall dimensions (M/A/B/C), hand chain wheel diameter (D1) and chain sizes, then verify the required headroom and clearances for smooth operation.
Available in 0.5T, 1T, 2T, 3T, 5T, and 10T capacities to meet diverse material handling and lifting requirements.
Adjustable flange widths from 68 to 203 mm allow the trolley to fit different I-beam and runway profiles.
Equipped with a hand-operated geared drive mechanism for smooth and controlled horizontal load movement, enabling precise positioning during lifting operations.
With a minimum curve radius of approximately 0.8–1.6 m, the trolley provides flexible operation on compatible curved tracks and in confined working areas.
Various A, B, C, D1, D2, E, F, G, H and S dimensions are available across different models for easy matching with beam sizes and installation requirements.
A compact geared trolley structure enables easy integration with manual chain hoists, lever hoists and other lifting equipment, providing reliable horizontal load transportation in workshops, warehouses and construction sites.
What is the DTDG geared trolley used for?
The DTDG is a hand-chain-driven geared trolley that rides on an I-beam to move loads horizontally, complementing a chain block or hand chain hoist of matching capacity for precise lifting and traversing.
What capacities does it come in?
The DTDG series covers 0.5t, 1t, 2t, 3t, 5t and 10t rated capacity (models DTDG0.5 to DTDG10).
What beam flange widths does it fit?
The flange width range spans 68–203 mm, with a minimum curve radius of 0.8–1.6 m, so it adapts to a wide range of standard I-beams and track layouts.
How does it ensure durability and smooth travel?
It is built with an upgraded 3 mm thick steel hand chain wheel for robust, deformation-resistant construction and a longer service life; the redesigned rear cover enables quicker hand chain replacement, boosting maintenance and changeover efficiency.
What is it made of?
It is manufactured from high-quality steel components, with overall dimensions and net weight optimized per model from 8.2 kg up to 81 kg.
