Product Overview

This hand chain hoist is engineered to EN 13157 and offered in capacities from 0.5 to 50 tons, with a compact-sized design that suits a wide range of lifting applications. Its suspension and load hooks are forged from 35CrMo alloy steel, heat-treated and fitted with heavy-duty safety latches, fitting grooves and inspection points, and each hook rotates freely 360 degrees for safe, flexible rigging. The load chain is high-strength Grade 80 alloy steel with a galvanized finish for corrosion resistance, complying with EN 818 with a safety factor of 4 and marked with T8 as per EN 818-7; machined chain sprockets and 20CrMnTi gears deliver smooth, efficient operation, while heavy-duty guide rollers prevent chain slippage. An integrated overload protection system adds an extra layer of safety, and the rugged steel gear case and hand wheel cover stand up to demanding working conditions. With an ergonomic handle for easy operation, every unit is tested at 1.5 times its WLL before delivery.

Key Features

01

Certified Standards & Factory Testing

Manufactured to EN 13157, the load chain complies with EN 818 (safety factor 4) and carries T8 markings per EN 818-7. Every unit is load-tested at 1.5 times its WLL before delivery.

02

High-Strength Alloy Construction

Suspension and load hooks are forged from 35CrMo alloy steel and heat-treated; gears are made of 20CrMnTi for superior toughness and strength; the load chain is high-strength Grade 80 alloy steel with a galvanized finish for corrosion resistance.

03

Comprehensive Safety Protection

Equipped with an integrated overload protection system. Both hooks feature heavy-duty safety latches and rotate freely 360°, while heavy-duty guide rollers prevent chain slippage. A rugged steel gear case and hand wheel cover ensure long-term durability.

04

Compact & Smooth Operation

The compact-sized design fits a wide range of applications. Machined chain sprockets and gears deliver smooth, efficient lifting, and the ergonomic handle ensures effortless operation.

Why Choose a Trolley-Mounted Electric Chain Hoist?

Not every lifting job requires powered operation or complex control systems. When loads need to be raised or lowered in areas without power, at temporary work sites, outdoors, or in spark-sensitive environments, a hand chain hoist gets the job done at a fraction of the cost — with no electrical maintenance, no ignition risk, and far fewer components to service than electric or pneumatic hoists. That is exactly what it is designed for: reliable, portable, fixed-point lifting anywhere.

Which hand chain hoist fits your application? If headroom is limited, a low-headroom model delivers maximum lift within a compact body. If you handle heavier loads, the full 0.5 to 50 ton range covers everything from light installation work to heavy equipment moving. And for straightforward daily maintenance or fixed-point assembly, a standard model is the simple, economical choice.Compare: Low Headroom Model Compare: Standard Model

How to Select the Right DF Model

01

Confirm you need manual operation, not electric

If your worksite lacks a power supply, or you need a portable, hook-and-go lifting tool that works anywhere, the DF manual chain hoist is the reliable choice — no electricity, no wiring, ready to use out of the box.

02

Match capacity to load

Choose from 0.25T–50T based on your heaviest rated load, plus a safety margin. Every DF model is proof-tested at 1.5× its rated capacity (e.g., DF-1T tested to 1500 kg, DF-5T to 7500 kg).

03

Confirm lift height and chain length

Standard lift is 3 m across all DF models. Need more reach? Both the load chain and hand chain can be extended per meter — check the per-meter weight specs for your selected model before ordering.

04

Check headroom and mounting dimensions

Verify the minimum headroom (Hmin) and overall dimensions (a–f) fit your workspace and top-hook mounting point. For tight spaces, smaller models like DF-0.25T (Hmin 261 mm) offer the most compact footprint.
