The DTK roller skate pairs a rigid carbon-steel body with oil-lubricated metal wheels in a polyurethane cover, giving the unit smooth, low-friction horizontal movement under heavy machines and equipment. Available in working load limits from 6 t to 18 t, with 4 to 12 wheels per skate, it's built for factory floors, machine-moving rigs and plant relocation where a load has to slide sideways into position — not just be lifted straight up. Lift the load with a roller crowbar or jack, slide a pair of skates under the corners, and push; avoid snatch or shock loading.
It shares its wheeled carriage with the wider DTK family, but the DTKA adds a swivel top pad for angled and turning loads while the DTKO uses a fixed top plate — see the comparison below to confirm which model fits your move.
High-strength carbon steel construction with a 6–18T WLL, ideal for moving heavy machinery and equipment.
Metal wheels with PU covers provide smooth, stable movement and excellent wear resistance.
Multi-wheel design with 4–12 wheels distributes the load evenly. Designed for safe and stable operation in pairs.
Can be used with a crowbar or jack for quick positioning, while built-in handles make carrying and handling easier.
Not every heavy load moving job requires forklifts, overhead cranes or powered handling equipment. Where heavy objects, machines and industrial equipments need to be relocated across flat, smooth floors — for machinery installation, workshop layout adjustment, factory equipment relocation or in-plant material transfer — a set of roller skates does the job at lower cost and with less maintenance than heavy lifting or motorised transport gear. The DTK range is built for exactly that: dependable, heavy-duty horizontal load shifting.
Which DTK model fits your job? If you need flexible steering and precise load alignment for complex positioning work, the DTKA with rotating top plate adds smooth manoeuvrability and angular adjustment. If you only need straightforward straight-line heavy load transport, the DTKO fixed-top model is the simpler, more economical choice. Compare: DTKO Fixed-Top Roller Skate. If the load only needs straightforward straight-line relocation on flat surfaces, the DTKO fixed-top roller skate is the simpler, more economical choice.
Choose from 6–18 ton working load limit (WLL) based on your heaviest machine or cargo weight, plus an appropriate safety margin.
Confirm the floor is flat, smooth and rigid enough to support the durably oiled metal wheels with polyurethane cover, and allow sufficient space for skate placement and load movement.
Get a roller crowbar or jack ready to lift loads for easy skate positioning, and note that DTK roller skates must be used in pairs to ensure stable and safe transport.
High-strength carbon steel construction for demanding industrial applications.
Multiple models available from 6T to 18T for different load requirements.
Wear-resistant wheels provide smooth and reliable movement.
Multiple wheels distribute the load for improved stability.
Compatible with jacks or roller crowbars for quick positioning.
Designed for paired use to move heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
What surfaces can the DTK roller skate work on?
It is designed for moving heavy machines and equipment on flat, rigid, smooth ground. Avoid uneven ground, slopes or fragile surfaces to prevent shock loading.
What capacities does it come in?
The DTK series covers 6t, 8t, 12t and 18t per unit.
How are the wheels constructed?
It adopts durably oiled metal wheels with polyurethane cover, protecting the floor while offering strong load-bearing performance.
What is it made of?
It is manufactured from high-quality carbon steel and fitted with integrated handles for easy carrying and positioning.
Any critical usage requirement?
DTK roller skates must be used in pairs. Use a jack or roller crowbar to lift the load before placing the skates. Sudden impact or snatch loading is prohibited.
